LAGOS – Ahead of it’s inaugural flight to Gatwick International Airport, London, Air Peace has crashed the airfares on the route.
The airline, which commences the direct flight from the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos on March 30, 2024, said it has crashed the return economy class ticket to N1.2 million, while the return business class ticket now goes for N4 million.
Presently, the Lagos -London route is monopolised by two British carriers: British Airways and Virgin Atlantic Airways.
The two airlines charge between N3 million to N4 million for economy class tickets, while the business class goes as high as N8 million to N10 million, depending on the time of booking.

A statement by Stanley Olisa, RHE Spokesman of Air Peace, stated that the flight schedules for the London route are now available on www.flyairpeace.com with tickets selling at incredible fares.
Olisa also stated that Nigerians studying in the UK can now access their special 15 per cent rebate on the already reduced economy fares.
Air Peace had announced a special fare for Nigerian students in the UK when it hosted travel agents in Lagos last week preparatory to the launch of the London route.
London will be the airline’s seventh international destination since kicking off operations less than 10 years ago.
