Iyabo Ojo got threat letter before office fire, daughter alleges

Actress and influencer, Priscilla Mkambala (née Ojo), has shared a disturbing letter allegedly sent to her mother, popular Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo, weeks before the fire that gutted her office.

In a post on her Instagram story on Wednesday, Priscilla posted a photo of the typed letter, which was delivered to her mother’s office on May 24, 2025. The same office was engulfed by fire on Tuesday, July 8.

The anonymous letter, signed by a group calling themselves “Aggrieved Group,” warned that Priscilla, who recently married Tanzanian singer, Juma Jux, in a lavish ceremony, would not enjoy her marriage. The group threatened to disrupt her marital bliss and declared that the family would be monitored closely over a three-month period.

According to Priscilla, her mother was on her way to Tanzania for her wedding at the time and did not read the letter until she returned.

The letter reads, “You put someone in trouble and you out enjoying giving out your daughter in marriage abi?.O ma laya o. you can’t escape in the next 3 Months as we are out monitoring you. Watch out. We shall render that your Daughter married useless and rubbish it with scatter scatter. That your daughter will not enjoy her marriage”.

Priscilla hinted that there had been previous attempts to ruin her wedding, and described the fire incident as a “Plan B” after other efforts failed.

She further disclosed that investigations are currently ongoing to identify and apprehend those behind the threats and the suspected arson attack.
