They’re both arrogant – Jaywon wades into Burna Boy, Eedris Abdulkareem’s rift

Nigerian musician Jaywon has entered the conflict between Burna Boy and his colleague Eedris Abdulkareem.

In response to remarks made by Abdulkareem on an upcoming podcast, Burna Boy stated that he doesn’t hold the “Jaga Jaga” singer responsible, but rather the donors who provided funds to cover his medical expenses following a kidney transplant in 2022.

Abdulkareem responded quickly, denouncing Burna Boy as “truly saddening and very disappointing” for wanting him dead.

In response, Jaywon remarked that Burna Boy was following in Abdulkareem’s footsteps and that he should be commended for his contributions to the Nigerian music business despite his arrogance.

Jaywon posted the following on his X handle: “Eedris has made significant contributions to the Nigerian music scene. Was he recognized for this? NO, and it was all because to his haughty behavior, which is precisely what Burna is doing as well. Therefore, I truly mean it when I say that ‘what goes around comes around,’ because it applies to both of them! Everyone goes to collect their las. Just in time, na!
