Hardship: Nigerians’ll smile again – Lagos CAN

Nigerians will smile again, despite their current state of grief, according to Rt. Rev. Stephen Adegbite, Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Lagos State Chapter. Without a doubt, Adegbite—who also serves as the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission, or NCPC—said that the people were going through a difficult period. He continued by saying that the people’ grueling tenacity was a seed that will eventually grow the fruit of a prosperous country.

Addressing a press conference prior to the Interdenominational Divine Service (IDDS) of this year, which is scheduled for February 17 at LAWNA Territorial Headquarters in Olorunda, Ketu, Lagos, with the theme; “Christ In You, The Hope of Glory,” Adegbite expressed gratitude for President Ahmed Tinubu’s and the Governor of Lagos State’s efforts to bring prosperity to Nigerians through the Renewed Hope vision and T.H.E.M.E.S. agenda, respectively, and to Lagosians.

He stated that the importance of prayer in Lagos State and throughout Nigeria cannot be overstated, but that it is the least effective way to help accomplish the goals set forth in both the state and federal agendas.
