Nigerian singer Tems has shared insights into her music, revealing that she believes many Nigerians fail to fully appreciate the depth and significance of her sound.
During a recent interview, Tems was questioned about her perception of how she’s received by Nigerians and whether they comprehend the essence of her music.
She replied by stating that she doesn’t think Nigerians fully grasp her music, although she’s uncertain if they truly value it. Nevertheless, she does feel personally acknowledged and valued by Nigerians.
In her words: “Understand, no. I don’t know if they appreciate my music but I feel appreciated as a person by Nigerians.”
