Actress Eberechukwu Bayray Nwizu of Nollywood has disclosed that certain producers in the Nigerian film business now want females to undergo Brazilian Butt Lift, or BBL, in order to cast them in motion pictures.
The actor made this revelation while recently appearing on TVC’s Wake Up Nigeria show.
She acknowledged that the infrastructure and financial resources of the Nigerian film industry had grown over time, but she bemoaned the loss of raw talent as producers opted instead to work with social media celebrities who they thought would help their films get traction.
She stated that balance was necessary even when Producers had to turn a profit.
Nwisu said, “Ten years ago, it was you’re not fair enough, you’re not tall enough, you’re not full enough; now it’s you don’t have BBL.
“The good news is that now you don’t have to conform to them. You can take advantage of any of the streaming platforms, start creating your own content, and grow. We don’t have any excuses anymore. There are always going to be those who say, you have to do this to be in my movie.”
