Following a recent disagreement on social media, Nigerian Afrobeats artist Wizkid has now praised veteran producer and music executive Don Jazzy for his remarkable qualities.
This positive recognition comes after Wizkid had criticized Don Jazzy, prompted by remarks from Don Jazzy’s artist Ladipoe about the state of hip hop.
After being informed by a fan about the post, Wizkid responded by stating, “Lol, never engaging with anyone signed to an influencer. Next.” He also shared two tweets implying that he labeled Don Jazzy, the head of Mavin Records, as an influencer.
In response, Don Jazzy unfollowed Wizkid on Instagram.
It appears the duo have put away their differences as Don Jazzy recently appreciated Wizkid for endorsing his signee, Ayra Starr’s sophomore album, ‘The Year I Turned 21.’
On Thursday, Wizkid took to his X handle to hail Don Jazzy, describing him as an “amazing human.”
He wrote, “Don jazzy! amazing human! [Love and eagle emojis].”
