The Executive Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has thrown his full support behind the upcoming edition of Laffmattazz with Gbenga Adeyinka and Friends, set to hold on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at the FMT Events Center, Ala Quarters, Akure.
Governor Aiyedatiwa gave his endorsement during a courtesy visit by the Grand Comedian of Nigeria (GCON), Gbenga Adeyinka, on Tuesday, June 3. He expressed the state’s excitement to host the highly anticipated comedy and music event, describing it as a positive addition to Ondo State’s growing entertainment and tourism sector.
“Ondo State is a safe haven for tourism and entertainment,” the governor stated, pledging his administration’s support in ensuring the success of the event.
The star-studded lineup will be headlined by singer Sean Tizzle, known for his hit track Sho Le. Other musical performers include Oyomesi, Abbey Awesome, Lekzido, Ruby, Miko Fridan, and JP3PLE2.
A host of talented comedians will also take the stage, including Omobaba, Bash, Erekere, Baba Alariya, Kojah Kage, ATM, Chi Young, General Olak, Dr Spencer, Dr Arotele, MC Stylo, Taichi, Prince Phelar, Jingle, Wisdom the Mimic Guy, Honda Stevo, Odogwu, Iparipate, Emzuma, and Ofak.
According to Gbenga Adeyinka, the red carpet opens at 3:00 PM, with the main show starting promptly at 4:00 PM.
