The National Convention Organising Committee (NCOC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has extended indefinitely the deadline for the submission of expression of interest and nomination forms by aspirants.
In a statement issued in Abuja, the Secretary of the Publicity Sub-Committee, Debo Ologunagba, said the initial deadline of Friday, September 26, had been put on hold, with a new date to be announced later.
He also disclosed that the screening of aspirants, earlier slated for Tuesday, September 30, has been shifted.
According to him, the extension became necessary to ensure smooth arrangements for the conduct of the exercise.
“The new dates will be communicated in due course. All aspirants are advised to note this extension and be guided accordingly,” Ologunagba said.
The PDP’s national elective convention is scheduled to hold on November 15 and 16, 2025, in Ibadan, Oyo State.
