Kwara United head coach Tunde Sanni believes his side can overturn their narrow first-leg defeat to Asante Kotoko when the two teams meet again this weekend in the CAF Confederation Cup.
The Harmony Boys lost 4-3 to the Ghanaian giants in Kumasi on Sunday, but a 1-0 win in the return fixture would be enough to see them through to the next round. The decisive clash takes place on Sunday at the Moshood Abiola Sports Arena, Abeokuta.
Speaking after the match, Sanni insisted his team were unfortunate not to have left Ghana with a positive result.
“Our assumption is not what we met. They were a bit luckier today, that’s it,” he said. “But they are coming to meet us at home.”
