Nigerian disc jockey and music personality, Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has described her sister Temi Otedola’s wedding to Afrobeats star Mr Eazi as “the wedding of the century.”
Taking to X on Saturday, Cuppy praised the intimate ceremony, calling it “subtle, intimate, and effortlessly elegant.” She added that the celebration, tagged #LoveIsEazi, was “pure magic from start to finish,” leaving guests inspired.
Temi Otedola, an actress and fashion influencer, tied the knot with Mr Eazi in a private ceremony that has since captured the attention of fans, media, and fashion critics. The wedding, which was featured in Vogue, was lauded for its minimalist style, emotional depth, and carefully selected guest list.
Media personality Patrick Doyle also weighed in, contrasting the Otedola-Eazi ceremony with singer Davido’s recent wedding to Chioma Rowland. While describing Davido’s event as a “gaudy carnival,” Doyle praised Temi’s wedding for its “quiet sophistication and carefully curated guest list.”
Cuppy admitted she was so captivated by her sister’s Vogue-featured wedding photos that she scrolled through them during church service. She described the day as “one of the most emotional moments” of her life and urged fans to send love to “the new Mrs Ajibade.”
