Popular Kannywood actress, Rahama Sadau, tied the knot with her heartthrob, Ibrahim Garba, on Saturday.
Sadau confirmed the development in a post on her verified Facebook page. She wrote, “Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem…🤲🏻Alhamdulillah, My Nikkah was done today. I am officially a Mrs. 💍❤️😩 👩❤️👨 A new chapter unfolds. My heart is overflowing with gratitude and joy.😩❤️.”
Expressing gratitude to the Almighty Allah, the bride prayed for a blissful married life. “May the Almighty bless our union with tranquility, everlasting love, happiness, and abundant prosperity. 🥰🙏🏻We kindly ask for your prayers as we step into this beautiful new journey together. ❤️”
The wedding solemnisation, which took place at a mosque in Unguwan Rimi Kaduna, was initiated following the payment of N300,000 as bride price.
The event is coming less than two months after the passing of her father, Ibrahim Sadau, who died in June this year.
Some photos and videos of the wedding which flooded social media platforms have generated reactions from netizens, with many expressing surprise over how the wedding came in a low-key fashion.
Sadau, also a movie producer, was in 2024 appointed by the office of the Vice President Kashim Shettima to serve on the Technical Committee of the Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprise programme (iDICE).
