Actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has revealed that she took a break from acting after an anonymous person placed her on a N1 million weekly salary.
She made this revelation on the show “Curiosity Made Me Ask” hosted by Bae U Barbie.
Nkechi explained that she wasn’t earning enough from her movie roles, often not making up to N1 million profit from a film.
She said the financial stability provided by the weekly salary made her realise she didn’t need to work on low-paying projects.
“Someone anonymously put me on a N1 million weekly salary because I wasn’t getting paid enough for movie roles — that’s why I took a break from acting. I can’t shoot a movie and I might not even make up to ₦1 million profit from it,” the actress stated.
