Alleged Attempt to Overthrow Tinubu: Police Offer N20m Reward for Wynne and Ehims

The Nigeria Police have announced a N20 million reward for information leading to the arrest of British national Andrew Wynne and Nigerian Lucky Ehims, who are wanted for allegedly plotting to overthrow President Bola Tinubu. Each individual is the subject of a N10 million bounty.

The police revealed that they have been investigating foreign and subversive elements attempting to undermine Nigeria’s democratically elected government through illegal means and violence. According to Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Muyiwa Adejobi, nine suspects have been arrested so far, with substantial financial support from foreign sources aimed at destabilizing the country.

Preliminary investigations suggest that Wynne, also known as Andrew Povich or Drew Povey, was identified as a key figure in organizing sleeper cells to destabilize the government and incite chaos.

“He rented a space at Labour House, Abuja, for an ‘Iva Valley Bookshop’ and established ‘STARS of Nations Schools’ as a cover for his subversive activities,” he said.

The Police, therefore, called on the public to assist in any useful information that would help their investigations, saying if Andrew Wynne and Lucky Ehims are seen, they should be arrested and handed over to the nearest Police Station.
