President Bola Tinubu has extended his condolences to former Minister of Defence, Prof. Iya Abubakar, following the death of his wife, Ummu Abubakar. According to a statement from the President’s spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, Hajiya Ummu Abubakar passed away in Abuja at the age of 78.
President Tinubu praised her devotion to God and commitment to family values and offered prayers for her soul. He also encouraged her family to uphold the legacy she left behind.
