Students Killed in Shooting at Yobe School

Gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram insurgents have killed students at Faudiya School in the Geidam Local Government Area of Yobe State. The school is affiliated with the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), a Shiite sect.

According to reports, the attackers stormed Hausari quarters in Geidam around 3:44 a.m. on Friday. Sources revealed that the gunmen targeted the students while they were asleep, dragging them outside and shooting them.

The incident has caused widespread fear and concern in the town. A source from the vigilante group confirmed that three members of the Shiite sect were killed, while one person, who attempted to escape, sustained injuries and has been hospitalized. The identities of the attackers remain unknown.
