President Bola Tinubu has appointed Jennifer Adighije as the managing director (MD) and chief executive officer (CEO) of Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC).
In a statement on Monday, Ajuri Ngelale, special adviser to the president on media and publicity, said Tinubu also appointed a new management team.
“The new NDPHC Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Jennifer Adighije, is an experienced engineer with vast competencies across management functions in the private and public sectors,” Ngelale said.
“She holds a master’s degree in Wireless Networks & Telecommunications from Queen Mary University of London, UK, and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from the University of Lagos, Nigeria.”
The president also appointed Abdullahi Kassim as the Executive Director (ED) of Generation, Bello Babayo Bello as ED of Networks, Emmanuel Umeoji as ED of Corporate Services, Omololu Agoro as ED of Finance and Accounts, Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama as ED of Strategy and Commercial, and Steven Andzenge as ED of Legal Services.
Ngelale mentioned that Tinubu expects the newly appointed management team to use their expertise and experience to advance NDPHC’s mandate of effectively managing the National Integrated Power Projects (NIPP).
