The organizers of the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality show have revealed a reduction in the prize money for the upcoming Season 9 in 2024.
The announcement was made via their official X handle on Wednesday. The winner of the 2024 season will now receive a prize of N100 million and a new SUV, which is decreased from the previous amount of N120 million.
This change comes ahead of the season 9 premiere scheduled for Sunday, July 28, 2024, with a duration of 71 days. In a new twist to the format, contestants will participate in pairs, introducing fresh dynamics to the challenges.
