Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu, commonly known as Burna Boy, has offered fashion tips to his fans.
During the Louis Vuitton Men’s Spring-Summer Show in Paris, Burna Boy advised fans to stay true to their personal style and not to be swayed by trends that don’t resonate with them, even if promoted by their favorite celebrities.
“My fashion advice? Be authentic, don’t let trends that don’t genuinely appeal to you influence your style,” he said.
He also revealed some personal preferences: “My top meal is fried yam with stew. I just recorded my favorite song last night. Right now, my favorite movie is ‘Lupin.'”
Burna Boy, along with other Nigerian artists including Wizkid, Rema, Adekunle Gold, Tems, and Mr. Eazi, attended the star-studded Louis Vuitton Men’s Spring-Summer Show during Fashion Week Day 1 in Paris, France, on Tuesday.
Adekunle Gold’s popular collaborative track with the event curator Pharrell Williams, titled “Falling Up,” concluded Day 1 of Paris Fashion Week.
