Former lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has reacted to the suspension of the nationwide strike by the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, and Trade Union Congress, TUC.
Sani said the suspension of the strike will make room for continued negotiations.
“The suspension of the strike to make room for continued negotiations is ok. Half agbado is better than none,” the former lawmaker wrote on X.
The Labour Union said the suspension was to give room for uninterrupted meetings with the tripartite committee on the new national minimum wage.
