In 2011, after years of success as a group, Abdul disclosed to DOPETV during an interview that the group made the decision to embark on a solo career, a move that would further solidify his status as a gospel music icon. Despite the transition, Abdul maintains a strong bond with his former group, emphasizing that Midnight Crew remains intact as a group of friends, even if they pursue individual projects.

Since going solo, Mike Abdul has released an impressive catalog of music, including five albums and over a hundred tracks. His hit song “Morire” marked a significant milestone in his solo career, showcasing his versatility and unwavering faith.

As the CEO and founder of Spaghetti Records, Abdul has also played a pivotal role in nurturing the talents of artists which includes Monique and Adam, Spaghetti Records continues to be a powerhouse in the Nigerian gospel music scene.

With new projects on the horizon, including an upcoming album and collaborations with fellow Nigerian artists, Abdul shows no signs of slowing down.
