In response to American city honors, Burna Boy says, “I feel incredibly privileged.”

Grammy-winning Nigerian musician Damini Ogulu, better known by his stage name Burna Boy, has enjoyed having March 2nd recognized as his birthday in Boston, Massachusetts, in the United States.

Recently, the Boston City Council proclaimed March 2nd to be Burna Boy’s Day in recognition of the singer’s “advocacy works and performances.”

During the Boston leg of the singer’s “I Told Them” tour on Saturday, the Boston City Council previously gave the musician a plaque.

Burna Boy posted a picture of himself raising the trophy on stage and captioned it with, “I feel very honored and fortunate! I’m grateful, Boston!

The objective has consistently remained to unite people worldwide. Despite our differences, we are all the same!

“March 2nd, also known as Burna Boy Day.”
