Controversial Yul Edochie, the Nollywood actor who became a preacher, has finally responded to those who disapproved of his fictitious prediction on the AFCON 2023 championship.
Yul had earlier before the match on Sunday, predicted that the Nigeria Super Eagles will defeat Ivory Coast in the final.
In a post on his Instagram page, he claimed “Today’s game will not get a penalty shootout. Ivory Coast will be easily defeated by Nigeria.
Nevertheless, Ivory Coast defeated the Super Eagles 2-1.
Nigerians on social media expressed their dissatisfaction and called Yul’s prophecy bogus after the loss on his page.
Yul responded to the criticism by writing on his Facebook, “It is well.” Super Eagles, thank you. Reaching the finals is equivalent to winning. Of all of you, we are proud. outstanding performance during the competition.
