The renowned music reality program Nigerian Idol’s organizer, MultiChoice Nigeria, is opening the call for entrants for its ninth year with plans to provide even more excitement.
Themed Dare to Dream;” the aim is to inspire young and talented Nigerians to take the bold step of auditioning for this year’s Nigerian Idol.
Dr. Busola Tejumola, Executive Head of Content and Channels West Africa at MultiChoice, reaffirmed the company’s dedication to helping budding artists fulfill their potential and providing viewers with top-notch entertainment.
She emphasized that more young Nigerians are daring to dream because of the past seasons of Nigerian Idol’s popularity. “Today they are some of the voices that carry our African stories and inspire others to live their dreams. Season nine promises to be bigger and more entertaining than other seasons”
The deadline for submitting entries online is January 29 at midnight. The online entry period opened on January 19.
The Nigerian idol page on the Africa Magic website is inviting interested persons between the ages of 16 and 28 to film a 30-second video of themselves performing any song of their choosing.
