The Supreme Court has upheld Governor Adedapo Abiodun’s election in Ogun State.
Oladipupo Adebutu, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the most recent governorship election in Ogun State, had his appeal denied by a five-member court panel in a unanimous decision just moments ago.
Justice Tijjani Abubakar, who read the lead judgment, concluded that Adebutu and his party had failed to establish their case.
Justice Abubakar addressed all of the points presented against the appellants and concluded that the appeal was without merit.
He dismissed it.
