The Supreme Court has affirmed Alex Otti’s election as Governor of Abia State.
The appeal filed by Okey Ahiwe, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), was dismissed by a five-member panel of justices chaired by Uwani Abba-Aji, as “lacking in merit”.
The Supreme Court also dismissed an appeal brought by Ikechi Emenike, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate.
